What camera do you use?
All images are taken by me unless otherwise noted. The majority of my shots are captured using my Nikon D800 with a variety of prime lenses. There are also a large number of shots taken on my film camera, either the Nikon F5 or Canon Ae1.
Do you do commissioned work?
I do take on a select amount of commissioned projects, whether it is calligraphy or photography. I love working with fellow creatives and have experience in all types of projects. Please send me an email and let’s start a conversation. I also love trading services.
Did you design your website?
My website is built and managed on WordPress. My husband is a graphic designer so I was blessed to be able to use his skills to create the vision I had for my website.
But if you’re not married to a designer, there are a lot of online resources available for starting your own blog. Squarespace is one of my favourites.
Are you open to collaborations?
Yes yes yes yes yes yes YES. My blog is centered on collaborating. If you’re a Southern California creative, I’d love to join forces and create some magic. I’m open to many collaborations, whether you’re a chef, designer, florist, studio artist, craftsman or maker or any kind, hit me up!
I also travel back home often to Vancouver, British Columbia and still want to feature and create connections with creatives from my hometown, so if you’re local to the Fraser Valley, I’d love to hear from you.
How can I advertise on your blog?
I do not sell ad space in an attempt to keep a clutter-free environment. However, if you want your product or shop featured, please email me with more information about yourself and if it’s a good fit for the vision of this blog, I’d be more than willing to do a feature in the form of a blog post.
Who designed your wolf logo?
My incredibly talented cousin, Andrea Hildebrandt, custom illustrated the floral wolf logo, as well as some floral features seen throughout the site. Be sure to check out her Instagram for her latest artwork, you won’t regret it.
